Thank you for visiting the website of Park Woods Presbyterian Church, which worships and serves the Lord Jesus Christ in Overland Park, KS, as a part of the Presbyterian Church in America. Our life together as a congregation is summed up in the first question of our catechism: Our “chief end is to glorify God, and to enjoy him forever.”

But how do we glorify God properly? We turn to our catechism’s second question:

2) Q. What rule has God given to direct us how we may glorify and enjoy him?

A. The Word of God, which is contained in the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments, is the only rule to direct us how we may glorify and enjoy him.

Therefore Park Woods is a congregation of the Book, God’s Holy Scriptures. The Scriptures inform us how God wants His people to worship Him when we assemble on the Lord’s Day and how He wants us to live together as His people every day. Our congregation’s life comes from the risen Christ—the Christ who reveals Himself to us in His Word and by His Spirit.
